Blood and Steel
There are many breeds of horses and some are more suited to some jobs than others. Here are the more popular varieties
Draft Clodsdale, bred in Agondale mountain areas, this horse is tall and very large legs. They’re typically bay or grey in colour
Riding Orob, the orob is a sleek breed of horse and usually has a dark mane and brown in colour. They never have splotches
Light warhorse Fraysa, only coming in black these small but aggressive horses are a favorite of squire and lord a like. They have long manes and are rather fast. The best are bred by House M’Ragh in Tevinter
Medium warhorse Either a Orob/Clodsdale cross or a thoroughbred these are the staple of any knightly host. Very reliable and strong, though not as strong as a heavy horse or light horse, they are easier to control than their bigger and smaller cousins
Heavy Warhorse Shard, these horses are as massive as they are aggressive, they usually come in black however other colours are not uncommon. These huge horses usually grow to 6’6" at the shoulder and make any man into a warmachine, a fully armoured knight, death.
